Epsom House girls' boarding school is seeking a passionate and dedicated Mathematics Tutor to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mathematics and a thorough understanding of the NCEA curriculum (levels 1, 2, and 3).
Key Responsibilities:
Provide engaging and effective tutoring sessions to students in mathematics.
Support students in preparing for NCEA assessments and exams.
Identify individual learning needs and tailor lessons accordingly.
Foster a positive, encouraging, and focused learning environment.
Collaborate with teaching staff to enhance student achievement.
Requirements:
Strong proficiency in mathematics, with experience tutoring or teaching.
In-depth knowledge of the NCEA curriculum.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to motivate and support students in their learning journey.
Previous experience working in a school or tutoring setting is preferred.
