About the Position
BharatCares seeks to employ an exceptional and self-driven teacher to teach Science and Maths to students of class 6th, 7th & 8th in Gujarati. The selected candidate will work closely with the top management, Manager-Programs and Communications team.
Centre Location: Vejalpur, Ahmedabad
Roles and Responsibilities
A teacher wears multiple hats to ensure an excellent education for their students. The different parts of the role are:
A - Teaching your subject
Use existing resources and design innovative Annual Plans, Unit Plans and Lesson Plans
· To Teach Maths /Science to your class using digital device and blackboard (hybrid pedagogy)
· Conduct regular tests and assessments to monitor learning and give feedback to students
· Build a positive and strong school culture, with a focus on learning and joy
· Collaborate with parents of the students through regular meetings to create a positive learning environment
B - Mentoring students
· Ensure these students have strong study habits, high attendance, and the drive to excel
C- Take STEM and Robotics Session
· Conduct hands on activities/experiments on STEM technologies and Robotics experiments/activities for the students coming at the centre.
· Learn newer technologies and remain updated about the latest advancements in STEM and Robotics
· Devise Lesson plans/activity plans for the students for STEM sessions and Robotics
Eligibility Criteria
· Bachelor's degree in electronics, computer science, computer engineering, or related discipline. (BTech preferred)
· Prior experience of 2+ years as a teacher.
· Own, reliable transport is preferable.
· Excellent presentation abilities.
· Strong written and administrative skills.
· Adaptable approach to instructing.
· Passionate about promoting STEM skills and academic excellence.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
