Role Overview:
As a Maths Teacher, you'll have the exciting opportunity to inspire students across various key stages with the beauty and logic of mathematics. Key Responsibilities:
• Design and Deliver Dynamic Lessons: Create engaging and interactive Maths lessons that bring numbers and problem-solving to life for your students.
• Foster a Positive Learning Environment: Encourage a curious and inclusive classroom where every student feels valued and motivated to explore mathematical concepts.
• Personalise Learning: Adapt teaching strategies to meet the individual needs of students, ensuring everyone has the opportunity to succeed.
• Monitor and Motivate: Regularly assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to guide their development.
• Innovate the Curriculum: Play an active role in developing the Maths curriculum, incorporating innovative teaching methods and resources to make learning exciting and relevant.
• Collaborate and Share: Work closely with colleagues to exchange ideas and best practices, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement across the school.
• Enrich the Educational Journey: Engage in extra-curricular activities and school events to provide a well-rounded educational experience for your students.
Requirements:
• A degree in Mathematics or a related field.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• At least 2 years of teaching experience in Maths.
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching mathematics.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
