Position Summary
The role of Manager, Talent Acquisition is a strategic and critical role in shaping the future of our workforce and supporting the staffing needs of our locations. This role requires a seasoned senior level recruitment professional with a keen eye for top talent and a strategic mindset to manage both internal and external hiring processes. This role will be instrumental in attracting, engaging, onboarding and retaining high-caliber individuals who align with our company's values and mission.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
Sourcing and Candidate Management:
Drive innovative sourcing strategies to attract diverse and high-quality candidates.
Oversee full-cycle recruitment including job postings, resume screening, interviewing, and offer management.

Stakeholder Engagement:
Partner with hiring managers to understand their staffing requirements and provide expert guidance throughout the recruitment process.
Act as a strategic advisor to hiring managers on talent market trends and best practices

Recruitment:
Source, screen, and interview candidates for various roles, ensuring a high-quality candidate experience.
Utilize various sourcing channels, including job boards, social media, professional networks, and employee referrals.
Maintain and manage a robust talent pipeline for current and future staffing needs.
Coordinate and conduct interviews, providing feedback and recommendations to hiring managers.
Mentor a team of professionals to hiring best practices, including hiring managers and human resources professionals.
Manage the candidate experience and quality of interview process.

Process Improvement:
Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
Master the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) as an admin of the system. SAP system experience an asset.

External Staffing & Vendor Management
Source and engage qualified professionals to meet the specific requirements of our internal stakeholders.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor on all recruitment-related matters.
Manage vendor relationships, service levels and decision-making on when to engage approved staffing agencies.

Onboarding
Support the implementation of structured onboarding programs to integrate new hires.
Assure all pre-employment checks, paperwork, and equipment are prepared.
Work closely and collaboratively with human resource professionals to ensure a successful and seamless beginning of service experience.

Strategic Initiatives:
Lead and participate in various talent acquisition projects and initiatives aimed at improving recruitment processes and outcomes.
Stay current with industry trends and best practices to ensure we remain competitive in the talent market.
Analyze recruitment metrics and provide regular reports to senior leadership on the effectiveness of talent acquisition efforts.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field desired.
Minimum of 8+ years of experience in talent acquisition, preferably within the manufacturing, engineering or operations sector.
5+ years in a more senior capacity, overseeing full-cycle recruitment.
Proven track record of successfully overseeing and managing end-to-end recruitment processes for front-line, technical and professional roles.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and clients.
Proficiency in using recruitment software and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and SAP.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Fluency in French and English, both written and verbal.
