Mechanical Construction Superintendent – Atlanta, GA (Travel To Augusta Required)
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Construction Superintendent to oversee a high-profile ground-up commercial mechanical project in Augusta, GA, with continued work in the Atlanta area upon completion. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader who thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments and wants to take ownership of project execution from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
• Supervise and manage all on-site mechanical construction activities, including HVAC, plumbing, and process piping.
• Lead, mentor, and coordinate field crews, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure safety, quality, schedule, and budget adherence.
• Maintain project documentation, track progress, and communicate effectively with project management and client teams.
• Enforce compliance with mechanical codes, standards, and best practices.
• Ensure smooth transition and continued support as the project moves from Augusta to future sites in the Atlanta area.
Qualifications
• 5+ years of supervisory experience on ground-up commercial mechanical construction projects.
• Proven track record managing projects with budgets of $2M+.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness and ability to travel full time to Augusta, GA during the project duration.
• Knowledge of safety protocols, codes, and quality standards in mechanical construction.
Location & Travel:
• Full-time travel to Augusta, GA required during project execution.
• Upon project completion, work will be based in Atlanta, GA.
