Our client located in Western Sydney is a business who offer backup power to large and small businesses, hospitals, schools, IT companies etc. The list is endless. The role will be very exciting to someone keen to learn new things everyday.
With its many different models, and available in various specs, our client has the widest range of back-up power generating machines available in Australia.
We are seeking a Mechanical Fitter with or without trade qualifications with a sound knowledge and experience in mechanical work to commence ASAP.
The position may transition from Casual to Permanent for the right candidate.
Work will commence asap
DAY SHIFT
If you are a trades assistant with good mechanical skills, willing to learn new things and looking for a long-term role, then this will be the job for you!
We are keen to hear from you if you have experience in installation of fuel tanks, pipes and associated parts to a power generating source like a, electrical generator.
To be successful in this role:
Must have a valid white card, valid Australian driver’s license and standard PPE
You need to have your own transportation as you will have to visits multiple sites. Trasportation is paid for if you use your own vehicle or trasporatation through compnay vehicle
Be willing to travel to ACT (LAHA, accommodation, meals will be provided)
Be mechanically minded
Safety conscious
Have a passion to fix things and do hands on work
Experience within the maintenance, installation industry, specially pipe fitting work
Hand tools and power tools experience
Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
Be able to work autonomously and as part of a team
If you already possess any of the following qualifications/tickets will be highly valuable. You don’t need to have all of the below, the more the better.
· Manual Handling
· Silica Awareness
· Asbestos Awareness
· Drug & Alcohol/Impairment Awareness
· EWP
· Confined Space
· LF Ticket
