Key Responsibilities
Get ready to roll up your sleeves and keep the gears turning, the rides running, and the magic alive at Sea World! You’ll be:
Undertaking pre- park opening safety checks
Respond to breakdowns on various equipment
Partake in various rebuilds and repairs of property
Maintain marine animal life support systems and water quality infrastructure
Ensure the safety of yourself and others by adherence to OHS procedures
Obtain equipment licenses and training as required
Complete daily tasks as instructed by the Engineering Supervisor
Suggest improvements in work procedures in order to increase safety and efficiency within the department
Shifts:
We are offering family friendly rosters. Our shifts allow our team members to be home every night. Shifts times range between 5.00am and 6.00pm, rotating over 7 weeks.
Shift Samples:
5am – 3pm / 5am – 1:06pm / 5:20am – 6pm / 8am – 6pm
Please note rosters may be subject to change dependent on business requirements.

The minimum requirements to apply for this role (mandatory):
A minimum Cert III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade
Ability to work on any day including early mornings, evenings and weekends
A reasonable level of fitness to enable the climbing of ladders and stairs
It would be advantageous if you have (desirable):
Hydraulics qualifications highly regarded
Experience with working at heights
Currently hold EWP, Forklift License, or willing to obtain
Manual drivers license
