We are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Trades Assistant to assist in completing disassembly, assembly / build, cleaning and related work to various rail sub-systems, equipment, and componentry. Please note that this is a role at present, based in Melbourne’s Western Suburbs.
The role is a Monday to Friday position, starting at 6AM with opportunities for overtime at the end of the shift and/or on the weekend based on your preferences.
This job would suit someone with
Hands on experience as a trades assistant with mechanical background
Experience disassembling / stripping and cleaning mechanical, pneumatic or related componentry and equipment
Experience in rail or other heavy industries would be valuable (manufacturing, mining, defence, aviation, aerospace, automotive etc.)
