Role Overview:
Bay2Bay is seeking a highly organized and professional Media & Partnership Relations Intern to expand our physical and professional footprint. This role is perfect for someone interested in nonprofit management, public relations, or business development. You will bridge the gap between our digital presence and our physical community impact.
What You’ll Do:
• Partnership Pipeline: Identify and vet local organizations (libraries, youth centers, universities) for long-term collaboration.
• In-Person Activation: Plan and execute two community "Pop-Up" events to recruit volunteers and families.
• Brand Consistency: Refine the Bay2Bay Media Kit and audit digital outreach to ensure professional alignment.
• Relationship Management: Manage "cold" and "warm" outreach to potential community partners.
What We’re Looking For:
• High school students or undergraduate students with excellent interpersonal and networking skills.
• Highly organized with experience in project management or lead tracking.
• Ability to work independently and meet with external stakeholders.
• A desire to build community networks that drive educational change.
