Responsibilities
As a Medical Customer Service Representative, you will serve as the first point of contact for our client’s patients, providing exemplary customer service and support
You will play a vital role in ensuring a positive patient experience by addressing inquiries, scheduling appointments and resolving issues in a timely and efficient manner
The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others, excellent communication skills and a strong attention to detail
Medical Customer Service Representative Responsibilities: - Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, families and caregivers, both in person and over the phone
Answer incoming calls and respond to patient inquiries regarding appointments, medical services, billing and insurance coverage
Schedule patient appointments, procedures and follow-up visits, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
Verify patient demographic and insurance information, updating records as needed
Assist patients with completing necessary forms and documents, providing guidance and support as required
Collaborate with healthcare providers and administrative staff to address patient concerns and resolve issues promptly
Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA regulations Medical Customer Service Representative Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
