Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Director to join our esteemed healthcare organization. The ideal candidate will be a board-certified physician with expertise in primary care and pediatrics. This critical role is responsible for providing medical direction to our healthcare team, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations, and overseeing the management of our healthcare systems.
Duties
- Oversee the development and implementation of healthcare policies, procedures, and programs to improve patient care and outcomes.
- Provide medical direction and support to our healthcare team, ensuring high-quality patient care and adherence to established clinical standards.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our healthcare systems, including medical records, patient information systems, and biotechnology applications.
- Collaborate with other departments, including project management, to ensure seamless integration of clinical services and administrative operations.
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of anatomy and physiology to inform clinical decisions and patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to identify and address gaps in patient care and healthcare management.
- Ensure that all clinical services are delivered in accordance with established healthcare management standards and best practices.
- Mentor and support junior physicians, residents, and medical students in their professional development.
- Foster a culture of patient-centered care and teamwork within our healthcare organization.
Qualifications
- Post-residency experience in primary care and pediatrics.
- Board certification in a relevant medical specialty.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare management principles, including HIPAA compliance.
- Proven experience in project management and clinical operations management.
- Familiarity with medical records systems and electronic health records.
- In-depth understanding of anatomy and physiology.
- Experience with biotechnology applications in healthcare.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and improving healthcare outcomes.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $196,723.00 - $217,215.00 per year
