Overview : The positionof a Medical Gastroenterologist (DM / DNB) plays a crucial role inproviding specialized healthcare services related to the digestivesystem. Medical Gastroenterologists are essential in diagnosing andtreating a wide range of gastrointestinal conditions and diseasescontributing significantly to the overall wellbeing ofpatients. KeyResponsibilities : • Diagnosing andtreating patients with digestive system disorders anddiseases. • Performing endoscopic proceduresincluding colonoscopy and upperendoscopy. • Providing comprehensive care topatients with liver gallbladder and pancreasdiseases. • Interpreting and analyzing diagnostictests and medical history to develop treatmentplans. • Participating in clinical research andscholarly activities related togastroenterology. • Collaborating withmultidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patientcare. • Managing and overseeing outpatient andinpatient care for gastroenterologypatients. • Applying evidencebased medicalpractices and staying updated with advancements in thefield. • Participating in educational activitiesand training programs for medical students andresidents. • Leading and participating in qualityimprovement initiatives to enhance patientoutcomes. • Providing consultation services toother healthcare professionals. • Complying withhealthcare regulations and maintaining accurate medicalrecords. • Contributing to the development ofclinical guidelines and treatmentprotocols. • Participating in professionaldevelopment and continuing medicaleducation. RequiredQualifications : • MD / DM / DNB inGastroenterology. • Valid medical license andboard certification inGastroenterology. • Minimum of 35 years ofexperience as a practicingGastroenterologist. • Proficiency in endoscopicprocedures and interpretation of endoscopyresults. • Strong clinical and analytical skillswith a patientcentered approach. • Excellentcommunication and interpersonal skills. • Proventrack record in conducting clinical research and scholarlyactivities. • Demonstrated leadership abilitiesand the ability to work effectively in ateam. • Commitment to maintaining professionalknowledge and skills through continuouslearning. • Ability to multitask and workefficiently in a fastpaced clinicalenvironment. • Experience in teaching andmentoring medical students residents andfellows. • Familiarity with electronic medicalrecords and healthcare complianceregulations. • Excellent problemsolving abilitiesand attention to detail. • Ability to work withdiverse patient populations and culturalsensitivities. • Strong commitment to ethical andevidencebased medicalpractice.
