Job Description
Position:
We are looking for someone with prior experience in working in a GP Medical Centre and has knowledge to using medical software such as Best Practice or Medical Director.
This is a casual/part time position.
The Role:
The role of the front desk receptionist includes greet and register patients, take bookings for appointments, and other administrative duties. The applicant must be familiar with Medicare billings and work cover invoicing and is proficient un using an Eftpos machine.
The applicant requires good customer service and communication skills, be skilled in multitasking and have the ability to work independently or in a team environment as he/she will be liasing with other staff, doctors and health professionals.
Essential Criteria:
Excellent Communication and interpersonal Skills.
Ability to work comfortably in a team environment.
Reliable and dependable. Punctual.
Prior experience in General Practice.Experience in using a medical software such as Best Practice, Medical Director and Practsoft.
