Job Description
We’re a small (but growing) tight-knit team with very low staff turnover. Our team consists of Physiotherapists, a Myotherapist, Pilates instructors, a Podiatrist, and a small admin team. We genuinely enjoy working together and supporting one another to keep the practice running smoothly.
This is a great and rare opportunity to join our admin team as a Casual Receptionist and become an important part of our day-to-day operations.
The Role
We’re looking for a friendly, professional Receptionist to join our admin team on a casual basis. This role offers approximately 5–15 hours per week, depending on the week and your availability. Prior reception experience is not required.
Shifts may include early mornings or afternoons, with some late finishes (up to 7:30pm). Ideally, you’ll be available to work at least two days per week, with some flexibility.
What You’ll Be Doing
Your responsibilities will include (but aren’t limited to):
Welcoming and assisting patients at reception
Answering phone calls, emails, and NOOKAL enquiries
Booking, confirming, and managing appointments
Processing payments and end-of-day banking
General administrative tasks
Maintaining a clean and welcoming reception and clinic space
About You
We’re looking for someone who is warm, confident, and reliable, and who enjoys working with people. Previous reception experience isn’t essential, but strong customer service experience is highly regarded.
You’ll ideally bring:
Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, professional manner
Strong organisational and time-management skills
Confidence working independently and taking initiative
Clear and effective communication skills
A willingness to take accountability and learn new systems
Experience answering phones in a professional setting
Experience with EPC, TAC, WorkCover, and NOOKAL is highly regarded, but not essential. Flexibility to cover additional shifts from time to time is also an advantage.
Full paid training will be provided (conditions apply). If you don’t meet every requirement listed, we still encourage you to apply — we value attitude, reliability, and team fit above all else.
Why Join Us?
Friendly, welcoming, and supportive team environment
Very low staff turnover
Flexible hours and leave arrangements
Award-rate wage (available on request)
Employee discounts
Close to public transport
Free coffee in the mornings

We’re not in a rush to fill this role — we’re focused on finding the right fit for our team, rather than the fastest hire.
