Position: Mental Health Support Worker
Location: Wollongong, NSW
Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality support and care to individuals with mental health diagnoses.
Assist participants in daily living activities and promote their independence.
Implement personalized care plans and support strategies.
Foster a safe and supportive environment for all participants.
Requirements:
Must have excellent English communication and verbal skills .
Experience with schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, psychosis, paranoia and complex behaviours (highly desirable)
Valid driver's license and own transport
NDIS Clearance
Strong mental health experience
First Aid and CPR certification
Police check
COVID-1+ vaccination
Completion of NDIS Orientation Modules
Infection control training
Mental Health1st aid ( Desirable )
Mental Health Cert – ( Desirable )
