Responsibilities
Monitor and document patients' behavior, mental status, and vital signs accurately and in a timely manner
Follow established facility and program specific policies and procedures to maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff
Assists patients with activities of daily living; (e.g., bathing, oral hygiene, care of hair, oral feeding, positioning, transfers, etc.)
Participates in the development and implementation of patient treatment programs
Maintains age-appropriate rules and enforces the behavioral management system, including proper conduct of residents during therapy groups, recreation, and education
Assist in the implementation and facilitation of individualized care plans, therapeutic activities, daily group programming and other interventions
Collaborate with nurses, psychiatrists, pediatricians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients
Assist in crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques to always maintain patient and staff safety

Mental Health Tech
• Monitor and document patients' behavior, mental status, and vital signs accurately and in a timely manner.
