Job Description
Provides behavioral individual and family therapy and healthcare services through the outpatient clinic, serving as a liaison with outside agencies for continuity of care.
Key Responsibilities
Maintains contact with other agencies to ensure seamless patient care.
Completes psychosocial evaluations, including DSM-V diagnosis, clinical observations, and treatment recommendations.
Documents billing, progress notes, and ensures timely completion after each visit.
Notifies Chief Psychologist of patient care concerns.
Promotes evidence-based psychological interventions and assessments for patients and families.
Submits billing information in a timely manner and maintains organized records.
Provides continuous supervision and adheres to non-violent crisis intervention strategies (CPI).
Qualifications
Master's degree in mental health required.
State of Florida Licensed Mental Health Counselor or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, maintaining active and good standing throughout employment.
At least 2-3 years of experience in individual, group, and family therapy.
American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification within +0 days of hire, maintaining active and good standing throughout employment.
CPI (Crisis Intervention Training) certification within +0 days of hire, maintaining active and good standing throughout employment.
Level II finger printing background required.
Knowledge and Abilities
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and interpret, adapt, and react calmly under stressful conditions.
Problem-solving skills to formulate treatment plans and evaluate patient responses.
Experience working with pediatric populations preferred.
