Position- Assistant Manager – International Corporate Tax
Location-Mumbai / Pune
Experience- 3 To 5 Years
Education – CA(Intermediate / Qualified)
Salary-Upto 15 LPA
Primary Skills- Corporate Tax (Direct Tax), Tax Compliance, Team Handling,
Notice Period- At Earliest (Max to 45 Days)
Job Summary -
As part of the international team, you would be handling corporate tax work and cross border tax advisory assignment ranging for various clients. Some of the key responsibilities you can look forward to handling are as below:
- Independently handling international tax assignments including,
- With-holding tax advisory and certification
- Structuring of inbound and outbound investments involving tax treaty interpretation and FEMA Laws
- FEMA advisory and compliance
- Corporate tax advisory and structuring
- Corporate tax compliances and representation before tax authorities
Key Responsibilities:
Tax Compliance & Reporting:
- Manage tax audits, assessments, and disputes with tax authorities (CBDT, IRS, etc.).
- Prepare and review transfer pricing documentation (Master File, Local File, CbCR).
International Tax Advisory:
- Provide guidance on cross-border transactions, tax treaties, and withholding tax implications.
- Advise on tax-efficient structures for foreign investments, mergers & acquisitions (M&A), and restructuring.
Transfer Pricing:
- Review intercompany agreements and ensure compliance with Indian and global transfer pricing regulations.
- Assist in Advance Pricing Agreements (APAs) and Mutual Agreement Procedures (MAPs).
Tax Planning & Risk Management:
- Develop tax-efficient strategies for global operations.
- Monitor changes in tax laws (Domestic & International) and assess their impact on the business.
Stakeholder Management:
- Liaise with internal finance teams, external auditors, and tax consultants.
- Coordinate with tax authorities and legal advisors for tax disputes and litigation.
