Job Description
This Merch Analyst role is based at the downtown Seattle headquarters and operates on a hybrid schedule with in-office work required most days. The position supports the buying and planning organization through data analysis, inventory management, and supplier coordination. The analyst will help inform merchandising decisions and ensure accurate item setup and inventory flow.
Responsibilities
• Develop customer insights and understand channel-specific shopping behaviors.
• Complete category, supplier, and class-specific analysis for the buying office.
• Prepare and maintain buying-office owned item attributes and item setup.
• Execute order writing, RTVs, reorders, and actions to manage inventory, OTB, and pricing strategies.
• Manage drop ship feeds, monitor live dates and shifts, and coordinate with suppliers.
• Monitor on-hand inventory for upcoming features and events and communicate concerns to partners.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in merchandising or a related field.
• 1+ years of retail/fashion merchandising experience and 1+ years of data analysis experience.
• Proficiency in MS Excel including navigation, formulas, and pivot tables.
• Strong business acumen, decision-making skills, and effective cross-functional communication.
• Willingness to relocate to Seattle within 60 days if not currently located in the area.
