Responsibilities:
• Arrange shipping, storage, and blending of cargos
• Oversee the issuance and timely distribution of all shipping documents required for purchase, sale, import, export, and cargo transit
• Coordinate customs procedures when applicable
• Organize inspections for cargos
• Manage operational communication with external counterparties and internal teams involved in executing trades
• Enter cargo data into internal systems and assess operational costs
Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience in metals operations (refined or concentrates)
• Solid understanding of the commodity trading industry
• Experience with warranting operations is beneficial
• Background in freight forwarding is an advantage
