About the job:

We’re looking for an experienced Meters Team Leader to join our team in Auckland.

Assisting the Water Supervisor, you will:
Lead and support field teams to deliver efficient, safe, high-quality maintenance work
Mentor, coach, and develop staff, helping them build skill and confidence
Install, repair and maintain Valves, Hydrants and Meters
Assist with planning, scheduling, and allocating staff and plant
Maintain strong relationships with clients, customers, and the public
Promote best practice in health, safety, and environmental care
Ensure records, reporting and job documentation are accurate and timely
Provide leadership support when the Water Supervisor is away

What you’ll need:

A Level 3 Water Serviceperson Qualification or relevant Water Industry Trade Qualification (Level 4 is desirable)
Experience leading or mentoring small teams
Strong understanding of 3 Waters networks and solid construction skills
Confidence with technology and digital reporting
A commitment to safe working practices
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

We’ll be taking a short Christmas break from 24 December 2025 to 4 January 2026. Feel free to during this time, we’ll get back to you as soon as we return.
