Job Summary
The Red Hat Sales team is looking for a Middleware Solutions Architect to join us in Bangalore/Mumbai/Delhi. In this role, you will create new business possibilities, solve problems, and establish working relationships with our customers. You’ll listen to customers’ technical issues and work on finding the right solution using your technical expertise. We’ll need you to have a deep understanding of the Red Hat solutions portfolio to be able to provide an insight for the Red Application Solution Suite. As a Middleware Solutions Architect, you will be in touch with our customers on a daily basis via phone, email, or in person, and will travel to client sites.
Primary Job Responsibilities
This role requires hands-on experience to Implement and build POC and customized Demo's. People need to have experience to run discovery sessions on the customer App landscape and clearly recommend migration strategy.
Act as a subject matter expert at the client site, addressing technical, development, and strategic IT requirements
Resolve complex issues in an innovative way
Define overall system architectures and manage software specification, design, testing, and deployment of open source solutions
Assist the project or technical managers in adopting Red Hat solutions
Maintain a deep understanding of industry practices through project experience and training
Respond to incidents, escalations, and exceptions in a professional manner
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Required Experience
Total experience of 10 to 12 Years with at least 5 years in Java software development on Cloud related technologies.
Solid experiences in software development (Cloud Native Development) on Cloud relative technologies, e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, is a plus, designing and implementing middleware technologies such as JBoss EAP, WebSphere or Weblogic
Required Skills
Red Hat Product knowledge - RHEL, Openshift, Runtimes, Integration, Business Automation & EAP.
Experience scoping and delivering complex application modernisation projects. designing and deploying integration technologies such as Camel, NgInx, enterprise service bus. Experience in implementing DevSecOps CI/CD Pipelines,
Excellent knowledge of complex enterprise solutions and architectures and Knowledge of enterprise architecture concepts (i.e. EAI, MOM, SOA, BPM, clustering, deployment strategies, DevOps, PaaS, CI/CD, etc.)
experience designing and deploying process automation solutions. Experience with Red Hat Cloud Platform or Red Hat OpenShift and OpenShift Runtimes offerings.
Excellent knowledge of modern application development tools and languages, CI/CD technology, development methodologies, preferably in Red Hat products, experience in designing and deploying API Management solutions
Understanding and experience of public cloud technologies including Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure and Google Compute Engine, design and deployment experience in specific industrial domain such as FSI or Telco.
Good understanding and real project hands-on experience of Kubernetes and Container technologies as well as popular languages and frameworks such as Spring, Node.JS, Javascript. , experience with database management systems.
Understanding of the Open Source development model and emerging Industry trends such as a AI/ML, IOT etc, working experience with container technologies. Experience in deploying middleware on a container platform would be a plus.
Understanding of modern methodologies such as agile development and DevOps, working experience with Linux operating environment.
Experience in designing and implementing DevSecOps.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Minimum of two relevant certifications related to the specialization either vertical or products based. List below
