Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure health and safety is the top priority by complying with all safety practices and policies.
• Perform preventative maintenance and correct equipment deficiencies as directed.
• Conduct thorough inspections of equipment, identifying any issues.
• Adhere to mandatory PPE requirements during work-related tasks.
• Travel to various locations for repairs and maintenance as needed.
• Complete and submit all necessary paperwork for tracking preventative maintenance schedules.
• Maintain active status as necessary for the type of vehicle being operated.
• Other tasks and duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience with heavy-duty trucks and equipment.
• At least 1 year of DOT inspection experience required.
• Must provide your own basic tools.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned territory up to 70% of the time.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and overtime as necessary.
• Ability to assess vehicle condition through inspections and diagnostic tests, identifying worn and damaged parts for replacement.
• Must be able to pass a background check, drug test, and physical exam upon hire.
