Job Description
Reporting to the Principal of the Montessori School, the Montessori teacher will create lesson plans focused on developing social, physical, intellectual, and emotional skills, and assess children’s individual needs. They will provide a supportive, safe, caring environment as well as participate in the co-curricular program as directed by the Principal.
The successful candidate must possess:
MACTE accredited elementary teacher credential;
strong communication and interpersonal skills and a passion for education.
up-to-date skills in the area of technology, and embrace a model of student-centred learning.
Previous coaching and/or extracurricular experience would also be an asset
Demonstrated commitment to valuing diversity, sustainability and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment
