Waitākere College is seeking a Māori Youth Worker to support the rangatahi, whanau and kaiako of the school. The main aspect of the job is supporting the pastoral care and wellbeing of rangatahi across all aspects of school life.
The successful candidate will have proven experience in similar roles working with youth. They must be proficient in Te Reo Māori and be able to lead and support the tikanga of the College.
This is a 40 hour per week term time only position (40 weeks per year). You will need to have a full NZ clean driver’s licence.
As per Ministry of Education regulations you will be required to undergo a Police Check.
