Job Summary:
We are seeking a Loan Originator Assistant / Sales Development Associate to support mortgage sales and loan processing activities. The ideal candidate will have prior call center and mortgage industry experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage high-volume inbound and outbound customer interactions. This role supports Loan Originators by assisting with lead follow-up, customer engagement, and loan application processing.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support Loan Originators and Sales teams with day-to-day mortgage operations
• Handle inbound and outbound calls with prospective and existing mortgage customers
• Qualify leads and assist in converting prospects into loan applications
• Follow up with customers to collect required documentation and information
• Provide updates to customers regarding loan status and next steps
• Assist with loan file setup, data entry, and basic processing tasks
• Maintain accurate records in CRM and loan origination systems
• Ensure timely responses to customer inquiries in a fast-paced call center environment
• Meet productivity, call volume, and performance targets
• Deliver a positive and professional customer experience throughout the mortgage process
Required Qualifications:
• Mandatory: Prior call center experience
• Mandatory: Mortgage industry experience (loan origination, processing, or sales support)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Customer-focused with strong attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and work in a high-volume environment
• Comfortable working with performance metrics and deadlines
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience as a Loan Originator Assistant, Mortgage Processor Assistant, or Sales Development Associate
• Familiarity with CRM or loan origination systems
• Strong follow-up and organizational skills
