Job description:
Hotel Manager required in Central Coast, NSW.
Job Types: Permanent, Full-time
Full-time live-in Motel Management (494 visa Sponsorship Available)
Our Clients run a busy Motel in central Coast in NSW.
Looking for a Couple to work for them. (Reception hours are from 8am to 8pm daily.)
This is a will be a fixed contract and renewable based on your success.
Managers must have own reliable vehicle but No pets & Not smoking.
Managers should have valid insurance as contractor with ABN Not employee.
Free accommodation CAN be provided to right couple and utilities are for the management couple (two adults) only.
Managers must maintain the residence in good condition. A quarterly property inspection will be conducted by the motel owners.
Responsibilities :
Daily motel operation (Reception hours 8am to 8pm):
Professional; quality customer service.
General reception duties including phone, email enquiries.
Staff rostering and daily housekeeping allocation.
Staff training for reception and/or housekeeping.
Staff payroll data collection.
Laundry duties & linen ordering.
Room-checking; problem-fixing before new arrival.
Housekeeping assistance (such as stripping off beds, restocking up linen & towels, removing rubbish)
Room-cleaning if housekeeping got stuck.
Marketing the complex by all means.
Group booking enquires and follow-ups.
Maintain a positive business relationship with all corporate clients.
Monitoring Satin, online booking channels & multi-media sites:
Manage all bookings via phone, email and online.
Daily settlement & report.
Debtor and agent accounts maintenance.
Monthly booking & account reconciliation.
Filing & cash handling.
Authorisation & payment follow-ups
Online reviews, comments & feedback correspondence.
Multi-media sites updating and monitoring.
General property maintenance:
Maintain reception, back office, staff kitchen & bathroom, commercial & guest laundries clean, tidy and neat.
Empty motel bins & monitor commercial waste bins for pickup.
General problem fixing like changing light bulb, alarm battery, TV & A/C remotes, TV channels, internet facilities and etc …
Get quote & tradesman arrangement if need.
Weeds spraying on a regular basis.
Maintain motel yard, garden & other common area.
Door mats cleaning, leaves sweeping & plants watering.
Basic plumbing, painting & maintenance if need.
Regular a/c filter, exhaust fan, curtains cleaning.
Monitor stocks & advise the owners for re-ordering.
Purchase items required from local retailers for maintenance.
Keep record & communicate with owners regarding all maintenance & cost.
