Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Motor Coach driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting passengers safely and efficiently while providing exceptional customer service. This role requires a strong understanding of vehicle operation, maintenance, and the ability to communicate effectively with passengers and team members.
Responsibilities
• Safely operate motor coaches, ensuring adherence to all traffic laws and company policies.
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting passengers with boarding, answering questions, and addressing concerns during transit.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and proper functioning of all systems.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the motor coach interior.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding schedules, routes, and any issues that may arise during trips.
• Assist with loading and unloading luggage or equipment as needed.
• Keep accurate records of trips, including mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents that occur during travel.
Skills
• Strong customer service skills to ensure a positive experience for all passengers.
• Mechanical knowledge to perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on the motor coach.
• Experience driving motor coaches or similar vehicles is preferred; familiarity with limousine or paratransit operations is a plus.
• Proficient in English for effective communication with passengers and team members.
• Ability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations while ensuring passenger safety and satisfaction.
• Strong organizational skills to manage schedules and documentation efficiently.
