Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Mover/Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods and assisting with moving services while ensuring exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and the ability to handle heavy lifting, making them an essential part of our operations.
Duties
Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods to various locations.
Assist customers with packing, loading, and unloading their belongings during moves.
Handle heavy lifting and ensure items are securely loaded and unloaded from vehicles.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment in both the warehouse and vehicle.
Communicate effectively with customers to address any questions or concerns during the moving process.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations and timely deliveries.
Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety compliance.
Utilize forklift equipment when necessary for loading and unloading materials in the warehouse.
Qualifications
Previous experience in moving or warehouse operations is preferred.
Valid commercial driving license (CDL) is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to obtain one is required.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
Experience operating forklifts is desirable; certification may be required.
Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) as part of daily responsibilities.
Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours as needed.
A positive attitude and a willingness to learn new skills in a fast-paced environment.
