Role Description
This is a part-time on-site role that will soon grow into three-quarter time with potential for future full-time for a Mover's Helper at Genie Senior Services in Calgary, AB. The Mover's Helper will work with a Truck Team Leader to assist with moving furniture and all contents onto and off of a trailer, handling clear-outs, and supporting seniors during the moving process. We also assist with sorting possessions, dropping donations, and recycling/disposing of items efficiently.
Qualifications
• Physical fitness and abilty to lift heavy objects
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Good sense of humour as we are a fun team
• Experience in customer service is a plus
• Driver's license and access to transportation is preferred
• Driiving experience pulling and backing up a trailer would be excellent
