Job Description: Database Administrator - MS-SQL Requirements - Support multiple MSSQL Server versions as applicable within database infrastructure support. - Perform work in SLA-based support engagements. - Perform as DB Administrator in performing the following: - Database monitoring - Need Experience in Cluster, Replication and Always on - Database change deployment - Database upgrades - Database health check - Installation, creation and support - Database software patch management as required to maintain operation and required functionality - Database maintenance, backup and recovery - Database file management - Database reorganization, space management - Data load/unload, replication and refreshes - System administration - Incident management and RCA services - Maintain database inventory - Create database indexes as requested - Database performance tuning to improve efficiency and reliability of the Databases - Monitor Database utilization and propose any optimizations based on trending analysis - Memory base server configuration and monitoring - Work in shifts for working in 24x7 environments Roles and responsibilities Database monitoring Database and server upgrades Misc Database Administration tasks ○ Disk space management ○ Backup and recovery ○ Database health check ○ Database change deployment Automated maintenance - Break/Fix Documentation updates Experience 2-4 Years of relevant experience
