Position: Multi-Drop Van Driver
Location: Elsmere Port Link Point
Working Pattern: Monday to Saturday (inclusive)
Hours: Between 6 AM and 6 PM
Contract: 48 hours per week
Salary: £34,045.44 per annum
Job Purpose
As a Multi-Drop Van Driver, you will ensure the speedy, efficient, and accurate delivery of assembled products and invoices to our customers while adhering to corporate guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
• Maintain a safe and competent standard of driving, observing speed limits and traffic signs.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness (lights, brakes, coolant, etc.).
• Report any faults, breakdowns, accidents, or delays promptly.
• Maintain the internal and external cleanliness of the vehicle.
• Ensure sufficient fuel for daily operations and secure the vehicle and its contents at all times.
• Verify all orders on the dropsheets and ensure they are loaded correctly.
• Collect goods returned for credit and ensure their safe return to the branch.
• Handle damages and breakages according to established procedures, especially for HazChems.
• Uphold a smart appearance and contribute to positive customer relations.
• Engage in additional warehouse tasks as directed by management.
• Comply with all Health & Safety requirements.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Required:
• Full driving license relevant to the vehicle being driven.
• Must be over 21 years of age for insurance reasons.
• Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written).
• Strong customer care skills.
• Intermediate numeracy and literacy skills.
Desirable
• Previous experience in multi-drop delivery driving.
• Route planning experience.
Additional Information
• Manual handling tasks (lifting and bending) are essential to this role.
• We cannot make reasonable adjustments for applicants unable to perform manual handling duties.
• Maintain a smart appearance due to regular interaction with customers.
