Job Description
Reporting directly to the Chief People Officer, this role is a 2ic position and leads the generalist function with + direct reports:
The role partnering across the business with operational leaders nationally.
Elevate the role of the P&C function and support to the business
Integrate P&C into day to day operations
Partner across the team to align systems and processes with business needs
Coach and support business leaders and operational leaders on P&C matters
Align the IR/ER methodology with the organisations needs
Bring high quality of ER/IR expertise to to the business
Lead EA negotiation processes
Bringing together teams that are working in solos
Upskiling middle management
Work with the OD team to roll out relevant programs
Identify HR risks and work with the leaders
Coaching leaders
Interpreting new legislation and contracts
The first 6-12 months will involve:
Employment contracts and compliance
Grievances and employment life cycle
Statutory compliance
Enterprise agreement negotiation
The first 12-24 months will involve:
Talent review and succession planning implementation
Labour Hire streamlining and unification
Empowerment of site Managers and partnership
Integrated service diversification (partnering with the business)
THE CRITERIA
To be successful in this position you need to be an experienced Senior HR Manager with experience in a large complex business.
Highly experienced in ER/IR, comfortable with EA'S and has a commercial outlook.
