The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with SUNY Downstate School of Medicine and all physicians are eligible for faculty appointment..
Kings County has its own Pediatric Residency program and is a major teaching site in the Kings County-SUNY Downstate- Maimonides Neonatal Fellowship Program. Our program is also a major teaching site for medical students from SUNY Downstate, St George’s University and CUNY Medical School.
