Containerized deployments and orchestration using Kubernetes and OpenShift; contribute to deployment and release processes.
Collaborate with domain teams to resolve defects, gaps and ambiguities in design, and ensure solutions are fit for purpose.
Create and maintain system documentation, technical design, and procedures for installation and maintenance.
Monitor performance and availability of systems; participate in performance tuning and optimization.
Contribute to automation, CI/CD pipelines, test automation and release management; support QA in issue identification and resolution.
Provide guidance and support to junior team members; communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Ensure high-quality code, maintainability, and clear, well-documented solutions.

What you’ll bring
The successful candidate for this role will be seen as an expert in their field and will have demonstrated experience and success in a similar role. More specifically, we looking for the following:
3+ years of related experience in programming and applications design.
Strong hands-on experience with .NET (C#) and modern .NET development practices.
Practical experience with Azure B2C for identity and access management.
Hands-on experience with container orchestration platforms, specifically Kubernetes and Red Hat OpenShift.
Proficiency with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server) and writing efficient SQL.
Experience with DevOps tools and practices (CI/CD, automation, version control); familiarity with tools such as Azure DevOps, Git, Jenkins, etc.
Excellent problem-solving and debugging abilities; strong analytical and coding skills.
Strong written and verbal communication; ability to work effectively in large, collaborative teams and manage stakeholder expectations.
Willingness to work on-site with the Auckland client and engage in on-site delivery.
Desirable
Additional cloud experience (e.g., AWS) or other programming languages/frameworks.
Familiarity with monitoring/alerting tools and backup/DR concepts.
Experience with APIs, microservices, integration, workflow automation and test automation.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline (desirable).
