Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and skilled NetSuite Senior Technical Analyst to join our dynamic software team. As a NetSuite Senior Technical Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in managing, designing, implementing, and maintaining complex NetSuite solutions that align with our business needs and software ecosystem. Your expertise in NetSuite, combined with your strong analytical and communication skills, will be crucial in ensuring the success of our software projects and optimizing our business processes.
This candidate should be NetSuite SuiteCloud Developer Certified
Key Responsibilities
• Solution Design: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, functional analysts, and other system administrators, to gather requirements, perform fit/gap analyses and design scalable NetSuite solutions that meet business goals and industry best practices.
• Customization and Configuration: Lead the technical design and implementation of customized solutions within the NetSuite platform using SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, SuiteTalk, and other tools while adhering to coding standards and practices.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct code reviews on new and existing customizations to ensure adherence to coding standards.
• Architecture Development: Collaborate with the team to develop comprehensive technical architecture plans that encompass NetSuite modules, integrations with other systems, data flows, customization guidelines, security protocols, and performance optimizations.
• Integrations: Contribute to the technical design and oversee integrations between NetSuite and external systems, such as CRM, e-commerce platforms, third-party applications, and data warehouses, ensuring seamless data exchange and synchronization.
• Performance Optimization: Identify performance bottlenecks, conduct system audits, and implement optimizations to enhance NetSuite application speed, responsiveness, and overall efficiency.
• Security and Compliance: Implement security best practices within the NetSuite environment, ensuring data confidentiality, system integrity, and compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Training and Documentation: Develop technical documentation of solutions to ensure their maintenance.
• Mentorship: Lead and delegate work to development contractor team in offshore locations. Share best practices, architectural guidelines, and promote continuous learning within the organization.
• Technology Operations: Ensure the reliable and efficient operation of all finance systems.
• Follow best practices for IT service management, incident resolution, root cause analyses and user support.
• Ensure SOX compliance with the platform and platform solutions. Should have experience working on SOX compliance. Conduct NS patch and upgrade analysis and follow SOX rules. Experienced to remediate SOX findings.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a NetSuite Senior Technical Analyst or a similar role in implementing and customizing NetSuite solutions.
• Strong proficiency in SuiteScript 1.0, SuiteScript 2.0, SuiteFlow, SuiteTalk, and other NetSuite development tools.
• Functionally proficient as a NetSuite user in additional to technical proficiency; able to advise users on ideal use cases for customizations vs native functionality.
• Strong understanding of software architecture principles, including integration patterns, data modeling, and scalability.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, web services, and integration middleware.
• Experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other web technologies.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Relevant NetSuite certifications (e.g., SuiteCloud Developer) is required.
• Experience integrating NetSuite and Salesforce for managing customer interactions, sales, and contract activities is a plus.
• Prior experience in the software industry or related sectors is preferred.
• Dell Boomi experience is a plus. Well versed with designing and building integrations.
