The opportunity:
We have an exciting career opportunity for a well-established, experienced contract manager to join the Network Services Team to deliver levels of service for the City of Dunedin.
Our Network Operations Team focuses on:
Ensuring the effective maintenance and operation of the 3 Waters network meets the agreed operational service levels.
Contributing to the optimised lifecycle management by developing appropriate network maintenance plans to meet service performance standards at least lifecycle costs.
Providing standby support to the 3 waters network and /or respond to 3 waters network issues outside normal working hours.
On going relationship and collaboration with approved Contractors.
Ideally you will have:
A relevant degree or equivalent. Bachelor of Engineering is desirable.
Formal training as Engineer's Representative to the Contract under NZS3910 and NZS3917 (essential).
Formal training/qualification in contract management and/or contact procurement (highly desirable).
5+ years’ experience in network engineering or contract management, with strong background across water, wastewater, and stormwater.
Proven contract management skills and strong financial literacy.
Experienced team leader with a collaborative style
In addition to the above you will have good communication and people management skills. While having the ability to prioritise and adapt to a changing day-to-day working environment.

Salary range: $96,912 - $114,014
