Job Description
We have a position for Network SME to manage Airtel IT Data Center network. Candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day network operations/Engineering and ensuring its stability, integrity, and efficient operation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and troubleshooting our network infrastructure.
As a senior member of the team, this role requires a blend of technical expertise and strategic thinking to run the operation with Cisco ACI, Arista Network, Cisco Nexus, Routing & Switching, Load Balancer and Monitoring tool
Key Responsibilities
• Technical support for networking such as: WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, wireless and security.
• Configure and deploy network routers, switches, and related devices based on design specifications and organization’s guidelines.
• Configure and optimize network switching technologies, such as VLANs, spanning tree protocols (STP/RSTP/MSTP), and link aggregation.
• Utilize network monitoring tools and diagnostic utilities to identify and resolve network incidents in a timely manner.
• Create and maintain accurate network documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and operational procedures.
• Evaluate and implement routing and switching-related changes, including router and switch configurations, firmware upgrades, and network topology modifications.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve complex network issues.
• Hands-on experience with network diagnostic, monitoring, and analysis tools (e.g., Wireshark, SolarWinds).
