Network Security Specialist

Responsibilities:Firewall Management:Conduct thorough firewall reviews to ensure the security and compliance of network configurations.Evaluate and approve firewall change requests in accordance with established policies and procedures.Change Management:Utilize ServiceNOW for efficient change management processes, ensuring accuracy and completeness.Maintain and update configuration data in the CMDB.Tufin Expertise:Proficiency in using Tufin for Firewall assessment is highly desirable.Stay updated on Tufin reports for all network gear, including Load Balancers, Routers, Switches, and Firewalls.Network Gear Hardening:Develop and run preconfigured reports to ensure devices adhere to hardening configurations.Focus on security measures such as SSHv2, Banner, no local users, and TACACS.Device Expertise:Work with Cisco Devices (e.g., 3900, 2821), HP Switches (e.g., A5500, A4500), and FortiGate Firewalls.Experience with Quick Heal Unified Threat Management (UTM) Serita Terminator, CISCO Source Fire IPS, and CISCO Source Fire FMC.Communication Skills:Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.Ability to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Proven experience in firewall management and network security.Familiarity with Tufin for Firewall assessment is a plus.Strong understanding of change management processes, with hands-on experience using ServiceNOW.In-depth knowledge of Cisco Devices, HP Switches, FortiGate Firewalls, Quick Heal UTM, CISCO Source Fire IPS, and CISCO Source Fire FMC.Relevant certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or equivalent are preferred.
