Temporary Delivery Driver required. Job is delivering Newstrade to shops and supermarkets.
Start Time: 3am till finish
Finish Time : Between 7 & 8 depending on candidates previous experience and own work pace.
Start Date
Friday 5th September and finish on 13th September ( * days/mornings). Paid training will be provided prior to you starting on your own.
Location: Starting at Menzies Distribution depot Linwood, Paisley and returning each day for unloading and debrief.
This is a temporary role with the potential for on going work after the initial * day period.
Must Haves
You must have:
Own 3.5T van or access to one.
Suitable insurances in place.
Right to work UK
Full UK driving License.
Be reliable and and punctual.
Duties and Responsibilities
The job requires you to be on site on time each morning. You will be required to operate a hand held scanner to load parcels onto your van.
The route is in manifest order which you must follow.
Uplift customer returns daily and unload parcels at the depot each day.
You must wear safety footwear and a High Vis vest when you are in the depot and the surrounding car park area.
Training & Pay Rate
Pay is set at £125 per day for using your own van. Training will be paid at £50 per day. Your own van is not required for training however you are still required to be on site for the training duration.
Pay will be finalised upon completion of the full * day period.
