Job Description
We are seeking a friendly and professional Front Desk Agent to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming environment. This role requires strong communication skills, multitasking abilities, and a passion for hospitality. Bilingual or multilingual skills are highly valued to assist a diverse guest population.
Duties
Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out procedures
Manage multi-line phone systems to handle reservations, inquiries, and guest requests
Provide excellent guest services by addressing needs promptly and courteously
Maintain accurate records of reservations, guest information, and billing details
Respond to guest inquiries about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services
Handle guest complaints or concerns professionally and efficiently
Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction
Uphold hotel policies and procedures to ensure safety and security for all guests
Requirements
Previous experience in front desk operations or hospitality preferred; hotel experience is a plus
Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills
Ability to communicate effectively in multiple languages; bilingual skills are highly desirable
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Professional appearance and demeanor
Knowledge of front desk systems and hotel management software is advantageous
Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including evenings or weekends if required
