Since 2015, Nevada Behavioral Health Systems has managed the mental health and substance abuse services for residents of Nevada. We have created a network of providers who focus on the core principles of recovery: strengths-based, person-centered, individualized treatment and support for people with mental illness and substance use disorders.

NBH has developed a comprehensive, community-based system of care by contracting with experienced providers offering evidence-based services. We contract with a wide variety of behavioral health care providers to respect and ensure member choice and to meet the special health care needs of our members.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assess members with mental and behavioral disorders in an ER setting. This position is seeing members in various ERs through out the valley.
• Communicate with member the available resources to promote effective and safe discharge outcome
• Completion of appropriate documentation of encounters with members
• Participate in ongoing collaboration with hospital staff members to ensure a team approach in working with all patients
• Other duties as assigned to support the organization’s operational and fiscal mission
Experience and Education:
• Must be licensed Clinical Provider. (MFT, LCSW, CPC, (interns accepted), or a Clinical Psychologist.
• Two (2) years or more experience in behavioral healthcare preferred
• Understanding of the importance of and the ability to demonstrate and maintain professional boundaries
This position includes nights, weekends and holidays. Shift differential will be paid for this position.
The pay for this position is tiered based upon your level of licensure as follows:
Intern
Fully licensed MFT, CPC
LCSW
Release Legal
This position does qualify for shift differential pay.
