About the role
We are currently seeking a No Go Zone Assessor to join our team based in Broadmeadows, Victoria. This opportunity is open to either an experienced assessor or a suitably qualified individual looking to transition into the role.
The No Go Zone Assessor is responsible for responding to enquiries and provide advice to third parties on No Go Zone restrictions, parameters and additional precautions associated with works in the vicinity of electrical powerlines, ensuring all “No Go Zone works” are prepared, coordinated and managed in accordance with Zinfra Group’s tendering policy, procedure and guidelines; and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities include
Provide Electrical Assets Regulation advice to third parties involved in the construction of foot bridges, roads, buildings etc. and the installation of water/gas mains, Telco and other utility infrastructure
Issuing “Permits to Work” (PTW) to third parties working near power lines as required
Creation of Job packs for field crews, customers to include all required drawings permit to work, procedures and relevant documentation
Support and continually develop visualisation management and methodology
Explain breeches of regulations to external party industry representatives, in a professional but sympathetic manner, and assist in rectification of said breeches
Assist with Scheduling High Voltage and Low Voltage shutdowns where required, within customer timeframes
Contribute to the improvement of the quality of administration through the provision of timely support and advice
Identify and analyses areas for improvement relating to business systems, processes and workflows as well as the implications of implementing system change
About You
The successful applicant will have a detailed understanding of all electrical assets, No Go Zone policies, procedures and activities as they relate to electricity distribution asset and hold a Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician or Certificate III in ESI Power Systems.
Exercise judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria to resolve complex issues in a creative and effective manner
Ability to meet company objectives for the agreed work through the application of approved governance
Demonstrated experience working with stakeholders
Well-organised with the ability to work under pressure
Current Australian Drivers Licence
White/Red/Blue (OHS construction induction card)
