Job Description
We are seeking an expert MongoDB Database Administrator to join our team. This role requires a deep understanding of NoSQL databases and the ability to design efficient data storage solutions.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage and optimize MongoDB and other NoSQL databases to meet performance, scalability, and security requirements.
• Collaborate with developers to design schemas, perform data modeling, and implement denormalization strategies tailored to NoSQL systems.
• Ensure high availability and reliability of distributed databases, particularly in cloud environments such as AWS DynamoDB, ScyllaDB, and CockroachDB.
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues, improve query optimization, and maintain system uptime.
• Apply your knowledge of CAP theorem and consistency models to ensure efficient data handling and robust system architecture.
Technical Skills & Expertise
• 4+ years of hands-on experience working with NoSQL databases, particularly MongoDB.
• Deep understanding of database concepts like CAP theorem, data modeling, and consistency models.
• Proficiency in MongoDB query language and other NoSQL query languages.
• Experience with cloud-based NoSQL databases such as AWS DynamoDB, Couchbase, ScyllaDB, YugabyteDB.
• Strong ability to analyze data requirements and design scalable, efficient data storage solutions.
• Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, data analysts, and DevOps engineers.
