A preschool teacher has to prepare daily lesson plans to help children learn the basic topics that are important for the development of social, cognitive and physical skills. As a Nursery teacher, you need to set up an educational plan each day where children will be involved as a group.Creativity is an important part of the education process and hence the activities have to be designed in such a way that the children develop an interest in the topics included in the curriculum by using art and crafts, music,etc. which will play a big role in the entire learning process. As a Nursery teacher, you have to prepare outdoor activities and games to develop motor skills.You will feed the children, serve them beverages and help them with their washroom needs. You need to ensure a comfortable and nurturing environment for the little ones in the school.Monitoring the development is an important duty of Nursery teachers and this helps you to know which children are doing fine and which ones may require a little extra help. You can do this by monitoring progress and making notes about the progress of individual children. A Nursery teacher must possess positive aspects like compassion for children.You will be solely responsible for the safety and security of your students and it is thus important to keep them at your watch always.
