An agreement for a collaborating or supervising physician, where applicable

Board certification from NCCPA

Open to candidates specializing in: family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, etc., or individuals with a general medicine background
Flexibility to work half-days (4 hours) and/or full days (8 hours)
Examinations primarily consist of interviews, supplemented with some physical assessments such as range of motion testing and muscle strength testing
Low Risk – No treatment or prescription of medications involved
Own a laptop (no Mac/Apple products)
Active and unrestricted full license
Must be willing to complete DMA training to become DMA certified Disability and Medical Assessment (DMA) (This is paid) completing training and seeing the 1st patient

The Judge Group is seeking qualified Medical Physicians (MDs, DOs), Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants to join our provider network as an independent contractor to perform general medical disability examinations for Veterans.
Job Description:
• Will be administering & completing Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) to veterans
• As a certified medical disability examiner, you gather and synthesize clinical evidence through medical and military record review, diagnostic testing, interviews with Veterans, and face-to-face examinations.
• You develop a medical opinion of the likelihood that the Veteran’s condition is related to their military service.
Qualifications
Physician
• Doctorate Degree in Medicine or Osteopathic Medicine
• An active and unrestricted license in the state in which exams are performed.
• 2 years of practice experience (preferred)
Nurse Practitioners
• Master’s Degree in Nursing
• An active and unrestricted license in the state in which exams are performed.
• Graduate of an accredited program and board certification from ANCC or AANP
• An agreement for a collaborating or supervising physician, where applicable
• Two years of work experience as a Nurse Practitioner (5+ years preferred)
Physician’s Assistant
• Bachelor’s Degree
• An active and unrestricted license in the state in which exams are performed.
• Board certification from NCCPA
• An agreement for a collaborating or supervising physician
• Two years of work experience as a Physician’s Assistant (5+ years preferred)
