What you’ll do
Key Responsibilities and Deliverables
Your immediate reporting authority shall be the Principal in all matters concerning to teaching and training.
Initiate, facilitate, and moderate classroom discussions as per the directions of the School Principal.
Prepare and deliver lectures to nursing students on topics such as pharmacology, mental health nursing, anatomy & physiology, community health care practices and other such topics mentioned in the syllabus.
Prepare course materials such as syllabus, homework assignments, and handouts.
You shall ensure that there is no prolonging the subjects to the last moment. If the syllabus is not completed additional classes may be arranged in consultation with the Principal.
Supervise students' laboratory and clinical work and evaluate and grade students class work, laboratory and clinic work, assignments, and papers.
Collaborate with colleagues to address teaching and research issues.
Plan, evaluate, and revise curricula, course content, and course materials and methods of instruction.
Maintain student attendance records, grades, and other required records.
Supervise teaching, internship, and research work.
Serve on academic or administrative committees that deal with institutional policies, departmental matters, and academic issues.
Demonstrate patient care in clinical units of hospitals.
You shall ensure that the practicals and procedures of the students are completed in the given time and must repeat procedures until each student is thorough about the procedures.
It is in the scope of your responsibility to motivate the students to complete Viva, Care Plan, Case Study, Logbook etc well in advance.
You shall prepare a lesson plan and submit it to the Principal everyday morning before the class begins. You shall not take any class without preparing a lesson plan.
The Director, Assistant Directors and Principal may walk into any classroom to check the teaching-learning quality and you shall cooperate with the same.
You shall extend your support and cooperation with the Quality Department in matters related to NABH accreditation programmes.
The nursing integration is initiated; thus, the job design can be modified as and when required in the future.
Teachers evaluation shall be conducted in each quarter and a report of the same shall be given to the individual tutor for improvement.
