Job Description
About the Position
This role involves coordinating regular site inspections, conducting audits, and recommending corrective actions to ensure compliance with legislations, codes of practice, and industry standards. You will also lead WHS investigations, provide support to those involved, and elevate medium-high risk matters through established processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the WHS Manager and operational leaders to develop, implement, and monitor WHS solutions and improvement initiatives.
Conduct regular site visits to perform audits, inspections, and observations, ensuring adherence to WHS company policies, procedures, legislation, codes of practice, and industry standards.
Escalate medium-high risk matters through established processes, including risk assessments and briefing notes.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Demonstrated experience in Work Health and Safety coordination, ideally with experience in disability and social care sectors.
Strong relationship management, influencing, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently when required.
