Description
The Associate Director of HR for the Financial Services sector plays a critical role in leading and managing the human resources function within the organization. This position is essential in driving the strategic people agenda enhancing the employee experience and supporting the business in achieving its objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with the overall business objectives
• Lead and manage the HR team providing guidance and support in all areas of HR
• Oversee talent acquisition employee onboarding and performance management processes
• Drive initiatives to enhance employee engagement and retention
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with employment regulations
• Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HRrelated matters
• Implement and oversee training and development programs
• Manage employee relations including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions
• Conduct regular assessments of the effectiveness of HR programs and recommend improvements
• Participate in organizational strategic planning and change management initiatives
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or related field
• Minimum of 8 years of HR experience with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role
• Proven track record in strategic HR planning and implementation
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations
• Demonstrated experience in talent acquisition performance management and employee relations
• Exceptional leadership communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to drive and manage change effectively
• Proficiency in HRIS and other HRrelated software
• HR certification such as SHRMCP or PHR is preferred
• Experience in the financial services industry is a plus
