Job Purpose:
Business development/ Knitting yarn sales for worsted yarn export business USA, Europe & Asian country, Functional support to Sales & Marketing, as maintenance/service to existing customer accounts to help growth of business as per strategy. And gradually take up Front Line Sales & Marketing Role
Job Context & Major Challenges:
• In the competitive market place the company is aiming to develop VAP knitting yarn business for export specially Europe, USA, & Asian region by identifying market demand, close working with key brands & -customers.
• To generate new market /territory company aims to generate/add new agents / Traders to increase customer base in target region.
• Clear Understand business, nature and behaviour of customers as well as competition,
• Develop good understanding of the manufacturing processes, cause & effect relationship, technical aspects of onward processes.
• Provide service and updated information to the customers & other stake holders before they start follow up and improve CDI.
• Immediate reporting superior to be relieved from routine jobs for them to concentrate in business growth.

Customer Support
• Business development/ Knitting yarn sales for worsted yarn export business USA, Europe & Asian countries,
• Demand analysis/Market mapping for the target country to evaluate the market potential, and demand & to plan a strategy for new business generation,
• Development of new agent/trader for target market,
• Co-ordinate with cross-function team (Development / Production/ Commercial) for business development & production,
• Sales forecasting, sales planning & production follow-up to achieve the target,
• Customer management, to keep updating customers on their order, development, sampling etc.,
• Online entry of customer complaint/feedback in SAP and follow up with concerned department till closure of same
• To assist sales & marketing by entering customer inquiry detail in SAP system various steps of order processing starting from inquiry logging to Despatch advice
Functional Assistance
• To assist sales & marketing while participating in exhibition/trade show for business development/knowledge up-gradation.
• To prepare MIS on pending order status/Pending development status and update to sales & marketing on a weekly basis.
• Prepare MIS including yarn price calculation, sales confirmation, production order, outstanding order position, shipment advice to buyers, etc.
Sales Support
• Timely checking of availability of internal credit limit & apply accordingly through SAP and follow up till credited in a customer account
• To issue Sales contract /Proforma invoice against order confirmation
• To advise dispatch plan to logistic consulting with sales & marketing manager
• To issue job card/sales order in SAP after confirmation of order.
